It looks like new game details for the "Final Fantasy 7" remake have been revealed regarding a rumored launch date and a possible inclusion of the game in the Xbox One console.
It was previously reported that "Final Fantasy" director Tetsuya Nomura casually stated that "Final Fantasy 7" could be a PlayStation 4 exclusive game since the game's teaser that was shown during the E3 2015 event shows that it will land in the PS4 console; however, the Christian Today reportedly claimed that there is a chance that the "Final Fantasy 7" remake could land in the Xbox One consoles but it could only happen after its release in the PS4 console.

Definitely good news for Xbox One owners if Square Enix decided to allow Microsoft to feature the "Final Fantasy 7" remake in their console, and Nomura also stated that his team will likely focus on the game for the PS4 as they are "undecided" yet to go beyond that.
Nomura explained through various news websites that the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will not be just some one-on-one remake of the original as he teased fans that he will not reveale too much information yet.
Although he did mentioned that the "FFVII" remake will not have new characters, and they are going to improve and modernized every character within the game with a look similar to "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" animated film.
CrossMaps reported that vital scenes from the "FFVII" will not be taken out in the remake despite Nomura's claims on making some changes in the game's plot. Nomura explained that he does not want to incur the wrath of every Final Fantasy fan around the world who have played and experience the game during their time.
Game Informer note that some gaming fans are okay to have a little changes within "Final Fantasy 7" remake to make it look fresh, at the same time nostalgic, while others did not want Square Enix to change its plot and gameplay details because it might ruin the feeling they have experience when they played "FFVII" for the first time.
As for its release date, the Examiner theorized that there is a chance that "Final Fantasy 7" remake will launch on 2017 for PS4 console as the website stated that 2017 marks the 20th Anniversary of "Final Fantasy 7" and its a safe bet that Square Enix will likely seize the opportunity there.
Square Enix has previewsly announced that the "FF7" PC port will launch on the PS4 consoles on Oct.16, 2015.
