Anime fans rejoice as new updates for "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" have been revealed regarding its U.S.premiere, new cast members and characters.
According to AnimeNewsNetwork, a new batch of characters and cast members for "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" were revealed during the latest edition of Shuiesha's Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine.

As the website stated, the new characters will include former Team 7 members Sakura Uchiha (Chie Nakamaru) and Sai (Satoshi Hino), Taijutsu master Rock Lee (Yoichi Masukawa), the third Hokage's grandson Konohamaru Sarutobi (Hidenori Takahashi), Naruto's wife Hinata Uzumaki (Nana Mizuki) and the lazy but brilliant strategist Shikamaru Nara ( Showtaro Morikuba).
There are also new Kage's being introduced in "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," which includes Korotsuchi as the Tsuchikage (Hana Takeda), Chojuro as the Mizukage (Kouki Miyata) and Darui as the Raikage (Ryota Takeuchi). Only Gaara (Akira Ishida) is the only character who has not chosen a successor and still is the Kazekage of his ninja village.
The first batch of characters previously announced includes Mitsuki (Ryuichi Kijima), Ino and Sai's son Inojin Yamanaka (Atsushi Abe), Boruto's sister Himawari Uzumaki (Saori Hayami), Shikamarun and Temari's son Shikada Nara (Kensho Ono) and new characters Momoshiki (Daisiuke Mamikawa) and his subordinate Kinshiki (Hiroki Yasumoto).
The Christian Today reports that the latest Shonen Jump magazine also see a new Chunin Exam in "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" as it will also introduce several new ninjas from each ninja village.
The plot synopsis of the movie revolves around Naruto's son Boruto Uzumaki (Yuko Sanpei) nicknamed Bolt as he tries to surpass his father Naruto (Junko Takeuichi), both as ninja and as person after feeling neglected for not spending much time with him due to his status as Hokage. He eventually meets Sarada's (Kokoro Kikuchi) father Sasuke Uchiha (Noriaki Sugiyama) and request him to be his apprentice in order to beat his father.
In other news, ComicBookResources reported that "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" will premiere in the U.S. at the New York Comic-Con 2015 on October 10. The announcement was made during this year's Anime Expo and that "Naruto" Manga creator Masashi Kishimoto will be attending the event, Design&Trend reports.
