A rumor surrounding the next iPhone release on a rose gold color is going viral on the internet and a recent custom paint job featured by Apple Insider showed how it may possibly look like.

On Friday, a user uploaded and shared a custom painted rose gold iPhone 6s. While the image was implied as an iPhone 6s, its back panel featured the same as the iPhone 6 making the claims fake, but still giving the idea of what the iPhone 6s rumored color will eventually be like. The upcoming iPhone 6s is expected to have similar physical features as on the iPhone 6; however, its internal components will have an upgrade that makes it different from the older version.

The new iPhone 6s is expected to have a 2 gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), a 12 megapixel camera, which is something that has been upgraded from the last iPhone release, and is also said to have the same feature as that being installed on Apple Watches - the force touch input. The rose gold color will complete a four round of choices from silver, space gray and the latest, which is the gold color.

The gold color was first introduced in 2013 when the iPhone 5s was first launched, but it is only the gold color in the Apple Watch luxury edition that has an 18 carat gold and is sold at a staggering $10,000 minimum. The new rose gold color is not confirmed whether it will ensemble real gold or not in the market.

iPhone 6s' rose gold edition will also have an updated physical appearance, such as the material of its casing and the structure of its inner design. They also addressed the issues of "bending iPhone," creating a much more concrete design to avoid the same glitch.

In a recent report, the production of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is rumored to be released in September of 2015 and its mass production is said to have started already in July. In 2013 however, Bloomberg hinted that Apple was going to add Pressure Sensitive displays to their iPhones.
