IGN reported that the story behind "A Matter of Family" DLC will deal with Batgirl and Robin trying to rescue Commissioner Gordon from the hands of Joker and his gang. Joker threatened to kill Jim Gordon if anyone, especially the GCPD, tries to contact Batman to stop him, so it is up to Barbara to rescue her father.
The website noted that players will have an interesting time controlling Batgirl in the new "Batman: Arkham Knight" DLC as the gameplay will deal with a combination of both wit and brawn. Batgirl here may not be as strong as the Cape Crusader, but her natural agility and geniues hacking skills could be put to good use.
It was previously reported that Batgirl DLC will feature a new hacking system that will help Babara solve puzzles as well as taking down bad guys as seen in the gameplay trailer. There is also a new dual gameplay system with Robin, and Harley Quinn sporting her classic jester outfit in the comics.
So far, this is the first DLC for "Batman: Arkham Knight" as Rocksteady Studios will likely continue in making new contents for the game very soon.
Tech Times reported several interesting choices that could probably used in making new contents in the game. The website hinted that the new story could be another Batman prequel, a direct sequel story after "Arkham Knight" or an alternate universe involving Gaslight Batman. There are also suggestion about a new person taking on the mantle of the Dark Knight after game's ending, and three contenders were named: Dick Grayson (Nightwing), Tim Drake (Robin) and even Jason Todd (Arkham Knight/Red Hood).
There is also a new PC Mod in "Batman Arkham Knight" where players can play the game in the daytime, Geeksnack reports.
"Batgirl: A Matter of Family" will be released on July 21, but gamers who have purchased the season pass within the game can have it on July 14. and it will cost around £5.79 ($9.01 USD).
