'Kingdom Hearts 3' Update: Game Director Teased Drive Forms, Battle Choices, More Keyblade Transformation; What Do We Know So Far?

According to Gamezone, "Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tetsuya Nomura revealed several new gameplay details for the third sequel during an interview session with Kingdom Hearts Insider. Nomura explained that "Kingdom Hearts 3's" combat system was largely inspiredby "Kingdom Hearts 2.5: Dream Drop Distance" with more mobility, flow and flashy gameplay actions.

Aside from the combat system, Nomura further revealed how each Keyblade transformations can be obtained as Nomura hinted that their is a "neat story" behind every transformation, and palyers can possibly do so during the start of the actual game.
The website further adds that Keyblade transformations could be done when the players meet a certain conditions and there are several stages. As seen in the "Kingdom Hearts 3" E3 2015 trailer, Sora can transform his Keyblade into a variety of weapons such as dual handguns and rocket launchers.
GamingBolt reported that player's can now perform several battle choices that affects the outcome of "Kingdom Hearts 3" meaning they will have to come up with their own strategies and plays to complete certain objectives within the game.
Nomura further adds that the Unreal Engine 4 was a very helpful instrument in developing "Kingdom Hearts 3" as he proudly boasted that the tools and features were greatly used to make a unique representation of what "Kingdom Hearts 3" should be like for the gaming fans, WCCFTech noted.
The website further adds that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will have a huge open-world map as two worlds were already featured in the game such as "Hercules" and "Tangled." Sora can now perform other actions like wall running and summoning objects like a pegasus, a pirate ship and even giant tea cups.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" will be the final chapter in the "Darkseeker" saga as the game's main antagonist prepares for war againts the Keyblade wielders Sora, Riku, Kairi, King Mickey etc.
It was previously reported that new worlds will be explored in "Kingdom Hearts 3" such as "Wreck-It Ralph," "Frozen" and possibly "Star Wars."
Other rumored details include new Final Fantasy charaters such as Zidane, Rinoa Heartily and Snow Villiers, new multiplayer gameplay and many more.
Square Enix stated that they will reveale more details and possible launch date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" at two D23 Expo events this year on August 14-16 in the North America and on November in Japan.
