Tao, whose real name is Huang Zitao, recently took to Instagram not to share a photo but to bring his following list to zero. The Chinese member of EXO, who is no longer an active member of the popular Chinese-Korean idol group, cleared his following list after his Korean EXO-mate Chanyeol unfollowed him on Instagram.

It looks like Chanyeol unfollowed Tao after news surfaced that the latter is releasing his first solo music, according to Korea Boo. Soon after, Tao unfollowed all the six people that he was following on his Instagram account, including Sehun, Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Lay, Luhan, and Dynamic Duo's Gaeko.

Sehun, Chanyeol, Baekhyun and Lay are active members of EXO, while Luhan quit EXO last year. Tao has not been actively participating with EXO since April, and the latest buzz is that he is releasing a solo music album on July 13. Last month, the 22-year-old lead rapper of EXO-M established a one-man studio for his solo activities in his home country, China.

A teaser of his upcoming music release was posted on his personal studio's Weibo account, with the caption that reads, "July 13, Z.Tao coming soon. Huang Zi Tao's fresh voice will captivate you." Speaking about the teaser, Tao's representative told Sohu (via Korea Boo), "This is only the concept poster announcing Tao's comeback. It is not the official album cover."

Recently, SM Management, EXO's management agency, removed Tao from the official Facebook page of EXO-M, though it has yet to confirm rumors about Tao's departure from the group.

Meanwhile, Tao is set to appear as a music teacher on the third season of Chinese show, "Let's Sing Kids." This announcement has also hit the headlines because earlier, there were speculations that Lay has been roped in as the music teacher for the show that airs on Hunan TV.

Hunan TV confirmed Tao as one of the music teachers via its Weibo account, without indicating that Tao has replaced Lay.  "Huang Zitao has confirmed to join Let's Sing Kids Season 3, becoming the 4th music teacher. Where are the fans at?" it said, as quoted by Korea Boo
