Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Update: Xiaomi Releases Redmi Note 2’s New Specifications

Due on July 16 is Xiaomi's big reveal on the Redmi Note 2, a promised of a more elegant feature and a practical specifications for better handling.
According to GizChina, TENAA has recently issued certification to Redmi Note 2 after a series of tests for network efficiency. While the unit has the same screen size as the old one, which is 5.5-inches, the whole unit has been downsized from 154 x 78.7 x 9.45mm to 152.05 x 76.2 x 8.02mm. Its battery has significantly designed to be smaller and lighter compared to the previous Redmi Note. TENAA confirmed that the battery of the Redmi Note 2 is indeed smaller and has a capacity of 3,020mAH battery.

Xiaomi's Redmi series has also been the recipient of MediaTek chipmakers with their new 64-bit SoCS, and because of its cheaper price, Redmi is bound to take it on until it became embattled in India where Xiaomi brand was accused of patent infringement, keeping the brand back to Qualcomm chipmakers. The Redmi Note 4G is seen to be available on all Redmi note series, handling a a Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 chipset. Its display type includes IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and 16M colors. Xiaomi, on the other hand, will have to link to LTE as the modern day smartphones have developed to LTE networking instead of 3G and 4G.
The dual versions of Xiaomi are known to have 100 percent compatibility with China Unicom and China Mobile, but fails to link up with China Telecom.
According to Phone Arena, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will be very similar to its former design except the mentioned battery specifications that were lately developed. Consumers who expect more may be a little disappointed with the absence of any metal part and a finger print scanner that adds to its security.
Leaked photos of the Redmi Note 2 as shown on the picture may profile a fingerprint scanner, but it is something to be revealed in the upcoming Xioami real of the Redmi series. Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will run on Android 5.0, a pre-installed application on the unit.
