Rumors are spreading like wildfire that the Undertaker is set to return in the squared circle soon after staying away from the spotlight for quite some time. A number of pro wrestling sites and forums are already talking about the comeback of the Phenom in the coming days, as that event will surely change the landscape in the WWE universe.

But the million dollar questions people are asking now is which superstar on the WWE roster the Phenom will be pitted against once he makes his comeback? According to a wrestling blog site, the Deadman may be out to revenge his lone loss at Wrestlemania more than a year ago.

"The other thing that WWE fans have been predicting is that Undertaker will cost Brock Lesnar his match against Seth Rollins at WWE Battleground, which will of course keep the title on Rollins, while setting up a future match with Lesnar and Undertaker. "It looks like WWE is planning to have Undertaker take on Brock Lesnar at next month's SummerSlam show, and Undertaker costing Lesnar the title will be the first step in building towards the WrestleMania 30 rematch, where Lesnar shockingly ended Undertaker's legendary WrestleMania undefeated streak. Since then, Undertaker hasn't looked for revenge, but now he finally is."

The Undertaker's last appearance in the ring resulted to a victory over up-and-coming superstar Bray Wyatt, at Wrestlemania 31 in Los Angeles. The win at the expense of the Reaper of the Souls has somehow saved the Undertaker's legend at Wrestlemania from completely spiraling down to oblivion. Unfortunately for the Beast Incarnate, the Deadman never forgets. And at Summerslam, these two behemoths will likely clash again in an emotionally-charged grudge match.

What WWE is planning ahead for the Undertaker onwards is remains to be seen. Mark William Calaway just turned 50-years old this March and is rumored to retire the Undertaker character after his last wrestling match at Wrestlemania 32 in front of his hometown fans in Dallas, Texas, according to Inquisitr.

Perhaps, Vince McMahon and co. is just building up a great storyline for the Deadman's retirement party next year by giving him a shot at Lesnar and then matching him up against another retiring wrestling icon in Sting in the coming months. On the other hand, the Undertaker might have a change in his retirement plans, setting his sight for an extended era of Darkness in WWE.
