It appears Jolin Tsai has taken a brief break from her busy schedule as Queen of C-Pop and took some time to give her boyfriend another birthday surprise. With the help of her two friends, Tsai reportedly baked an adorable Minion cake for beau Vivian Dawson.

Dawson was quick to share Tsai's gesture with the world. Accompanying the picture of the Minion cake was the caption "It's delicious! Evey character is great. Which one do you like best?" The cake comprised nine Minions, each portraying a different character--Captain America, Spider-Man, Incredible Hulk, Superman, and Piccolo of the anime Dragon Ball.

Concluding the caption was "Be careful, do not choose the one baked by Jolin. She will run to the toilet and cry!" This prompted Weibo users to guess that Jolin must have baked the Minion with a "V" accessory since it is Vivian's initial.

When Dawson turned 31 on July 18, Tsai was in Shanghai for her Play World Tour concert. Although the couple were not able to celebrate together, Tsai made sure to greet her beau a "happy birthday" on Weibo. Many fans considered Tsai's online post as a "rare" display of affection since she has been avoiding media attention on her relationship for years. Netizens further encouraged the pair to get married already.

However, Tsai has been very vocal about her stand on marriage. For her, walking down the aisle is still out of the question. In 2013, wedding rumors began to spread when she and Dawson were spotted together in England. Tsai was on a studying trip in London and was visited by her boyfriend. Reports also claimed that Tsai has rejected Dawson's marriage proposal twice, in England and in New Zealand, when he introduced her to his parents. She shrugged off the news that they secretly tied the knot and called the hearsay as "absurd."

"It's not a must to get married. What's more important is to be happy," Tsai allegedly shared with her friends.

Today, Tsai and Dawson's almost five-year relationship has weathered a number of rumors and appears to be sailing smoothly.
