A previous report from KDramaStars revealed that other Autobots and Decepticons are also rumored to join "Transformers 5" such as Override, Red Alert, Scourge, Blitzwing and Cyclonus.
Aside from from the new characters, a previous report from the Inquistr claimed that the plot setting of "Transformers 5" will take place on Cybertron and involves another robot race known as the "Mechanoids."
The Mechanoids in the fifth installement will serve as another ally for Autobots in their fight against the new Decepticon regime led by Galvatron and possibly against the Quintessons, MovieGuideNews noted.
In other news, Day Herald reported that Michael Bay will indeed return to the director's chair to helm "Transformers 5" after months of speculations that he will leave the franchise and that "TMNT" director Jonathan Liebesman will replace him as director.
The website further adds that Robert Kirkman and Akiva Goldman will serve as writers in the movie and that "Age of Extinction" star Mark Wahlberg will reprise his role as Cade Yaeger.
CrossMaps reportedly claimed that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Bruce Willis are also being eyed to join the latest installment, which started the speculations of a G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover. Movie producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura stated that its is not a "realistic proposition, at least not in the future."
Former "Transformers" stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are being considered to return to the fifth installment to join Wahlberg; however, Fox commented that she was not sure yet if she can return to the Transformers movie franchise as long as things go smoothly with everyone and her costar LaBeouf on the set, maybe she will consider the offer, Classicalite.com reports.
"Transformers 5" movie is tentatively set to be released in the early months of 2017.
