It looks like "Metal Gear" creator Hideo Kojima is still going forward with his partnership with "Pacific Rim" director Guillermo Del Toro as "Silent Hills" could be back in production.

According to Gamerant, both Kojima and Del Toro will continue to work together on a "Silent Hill" title featuring "The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus, despite the failed working relationship that Kojima Productions had with Konami.

The problems with Kojima and Konami has escalated to the point that "Silent Hills" has seize game production and development this year. Kojima and his team are still working on "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" at the time and claims that after "MGS5," they will leave Konami permanently.

Polygon reported that although "Silent Hills" is officially dead, Del Toro and Kojima will still continue to collaborate with other projects as the "Pacific Rim" director stated that he is still in touch with the "Metal Gear" mastermind.

Del Toro further adds that he and Kojima are in the planning stages over the development of "Silent Hills" before its cancellation and commented that the cancellation was "not gentle and ambiguous."

IDigital Times reported that both Del Toro and Kojima were looking to push the boundaries of the new game consoles, namely the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to a all new level and wanted to "mess with everyone's head" within "Silent Hills."

It is noted that Konami has not yet taken out "Silent Hills" demo in the PS4 platform, according in a previous report from IGN.

A representative from Konami stated that rumors of "Silent Hills" being deleted in the consoles is false, and there is no system that would allow either Konami nor Sony to remove "P.T." within the console.

"Silent Hills" was supposed to be the next installment in the "Silent Hill" game series as it made its official debut at last year's Gamescom event.

The game will feature a first-person gameplay, wherein players will experience unimaginable horror when solving puzzles or exploring areas that will leave them frightened or traumatized at night, Mashable reported.

So far, there is no word yet what kind of project will Kojima and Del Toro are working on, and whatever they are planning, it still involves Reedus in the cast as gaming fans are eager to find out very soon.
