The hot leak suggests that the upcoming devices from the mighty Microsoft, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, will boost of 2K display and the upcoming Windows 10 as its operating system.

Both the devices will be the first to feature the Windows 10 operating system in smartphones, as per itHome. It is speculated that the Lumia 950 might sport 5.2-inch display size, whereas the bigger version, Lumia 950XL will have 5.7-inch screen. For the first time, Microsoft is moving towards the metal slim uni-body as the rivals like Samsung and Apple has already shifted towards the metal frame casing, according to TechRadar.

The Lumia 950 will have powerful hardware specification where the Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor will be assisted by 3GB of RAM. The other sibling will be driven by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, along with 3GB of RAM slot. The memory storage might have same provisions for both the devices with 32GB internal space that can be expanded by external microSD card.

It is said that similarities might also be noticed in the camera segment. The recent releases of Microsoft indicates high standard camera facility and the trend continues with these two devices as they sport 20MP rear shooter combined with 5MP front facing camera. TechRadar also added that the devices might come along with Type-C USB port.

Microsoft has remained quiet regarding the release date and specification of the devices; however, it is expected that the devices might hit the market this October. The power segment will be backed by 3,000mAh battery capacity for the Lumia 950 handset, while the Lumia 950XL will be supported by 3,300mAh battery.

Previously, it was rumored that the upcoming device might be modelled as Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL by the ascending Lumia series, but a recent post from the Phone Arena has reported that the alleged device would be renamed as the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL.

Tech enthusiasts are very much hopeful about the success of the devices as Microsoft has highly configured these smartphones to meet the new generation users' demand, by bringing innovative design, stylish body casing, 2K display, Windows 10 and much more.
