'Street Fighter 5' Beta Test Postponed; Capcom Hints DLC Character Can Be Unlocked During The Game!

Gamerant reports that Capcom postponed the PS4 beta test for "Street Fighter 5" due to several sever issues found within its development and release. The website further adds that these issues include unable to log in and find match making opponents during its initial run.

The "Street Fighter 5" PS4 beta test got started on July 23 and many players eventually noticed these errors, which caused Capcom to extend the beta test for undermined amount of time.

VG 24/7 reported that Capcom has issued an apology to the gaming fans who have been eager to tryout the "Street Fighter 5" beta game last week, through the Capcom-Unity blog site.

Capcom has been conducting these test for three days for the purpose of collecting in-game data, as well as feedback from the gaming fans playing the "Street Fighter 5" beta.

Unfortunately several players are not all satisfied with the experience due to these issues, which forced Capcom to make the decision to postponed the game for the meantime and fix all its problems soon.

Associate Producer Pete Rosas stated that this beta trial does not count as the "real" beta test for "Street Fighter 5," and Capcom has announced that they will still hold three more beta test for the game soon, Gamespot reported.

Gamers who have pre-ordered the "Street Fighter 5" and got an access to its beta test can still play the game in the next test, as a compensation for the bad experience they had last week.

Capcom has certainly understood the frustrations that gamers' experienced during the three day beta trial and the Japanese video game publisher will be working hard until new details emerge for the following weeks.

In other news, the Christian Today reportedly claimed that players can unlock certain DLC characters from "Street Fighter 5" while playing the game itself.

The website revealed that Rosas stated "Street Fighter 5" is a one disc game, meaning Capcom will not be developing other versions such as "Super" or "Ultra" for the game. He further adds that players can unlock everything in the game, including bonus characters.

Eight characters have already been revealed within "Street Fighter 5" such as Ryu, Ken Masters, Chun Li, Birdie, Cammy White, Charlie Nash, M.Bison and the new character Necalli.


Other rumored characters joining the game include Urien, Alex, R. Mika, Karen Kanzaki, Blanka, Zangief, Guile, Akuma. Elena, Hugo. C.Viper, Poison, Dudley, Abel and new faces Kuan and Sherry.

"Street Fighter 5" is tentatively set to be released on March 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
