There are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini release may be happening in August.

The tradition continues of the flagship S series as the Galaxy S6 Mini might appear in the market in the next month. After the release of Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung released the S6 Active. The S6 Mini was due, and finally, GSMARENA has published some leaked images of the alleged device that indicates that the device's existence.

The newly surfaced images suggest that the purported device will have the same design like the Galaxy S6 but in a smaller size. The device will have the signature S6 metal and glass amalgamate design with microUSB port, speaker, and audio jack held in the exact same position. However, leak images missed the rear side of the device, so if Samsung made any changes in the design it will be the rear side of the phone only.  

Smartphones compact or smaller version has been tremendously popular among the tech lovers, and Samsung has been pioneer to visualize the demand of the small version of the flagship S series smartphones.

The reason behind the small versions popularity might be the reduced price of the flagship high-end smartphones. The size may not be the fact for the fans as these devices holds the same flagship signature S series features and high-end configuration. This year, fans are getting the high-end S6 signature features packed in the S6 mini version that will sport 4.6 or 4.7-inch screen size.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 has 5.1-inch display screen size with 577 pixels per inch pixel density, according to GSMARENA.

The hardware segment might include hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor accompanied by 2GB of RAM memory, whereas the bigger brother has Exynos 7420 chipset along with Quad-Core 1.5GHz Cortex and Quad-Core 2.1GHz Cortex-A57 processor and Mali -T760MP8 GPU system assisted by 3GB of RAM. The camera segment might be downgraded to 15MP rear sensor as the bigger version offers 16MP primary camera, TechTimes reported.
