According to Gameranx, EA Games have teased a new character to join "Star Wars Battlefront" in a post from the game's official Instagram page.

The photo above features the three iconic Star Wars characters that are playable within the new "Battlefront" sequels such as Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Luke Skywalker.
The website speculated that next playable characters to join "Star Wars Battlefront" could be Luke's allies Han Solo and Chewbacca, while Segment Next reportedly claimed that it could be Yoda, Qui-Gon Jun and Darth Maul.
Aside from the rumored new characters, DICE and EA Games will present more game details for "Star Wars Battlefront" at this year's Gamescom event next week.
Gamerant reported that DICE is developing a new game mode for "Star Wars Battlefront," which is intended to excite "fans of Starfighters." Although it vague to say that it would mean Starfighters are included since its already been done for past games, the website speculated that this game mode could exclusively feature vehicular combat only.
Gamezone also revealed that vehicles in "Star Wars Battlefront" could vary based on the game maps. For example Hoth will feature vehicles such as snowspeeders, TIE Fighters and X-Wings,while the Endor map will see only AT-AT. Playble heroes and villains will likely be the same and EA confirmed that vehicles will tied into power ups found in each map and Y-Wings will act as support units to call upon.
The website further adds that "Star Wars Battlefront" will have minimum and recommended PC requirements as the development progresses and the game is further optimized.
Playable races such as Twi'lerks, Zabraks, Quarrens and Sullustrans will be unlockable in he Rebel faction. Survival mode will require players to join the Rebel faction, but in Battles and Hero Battles they can choose between the latter or the Galactic Empire.
PlayStationLifeStyle reports that Matthew Everett, community manager for "Star Wars Battlefront" will announce other details for the game in other upcoming video game events such as EB Games and D23 Expo.
Lastly, Master Herald reportedly claimed that the pre-order contents for "Star Wars Battlefront" will two maps from the planet Jakku and an R2-D2 themed PlayStation 4 console.
"Star Wars Battlefront" is scheduled to be release on Nov. 17, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for the PC platform.
