Speculations abound that two-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford is unhappy about how the team bent over backwards just to keep DeAndre Jordan on the L.A. side this offseason, and is now considering a leap to the Miami Heat as a result.

Fansided reported that the 15-year veteran felt "a little slighted" because of the act of head coach Doc Rivers, superstars Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, and new recruit Paul Pierce to take time and stay at Jordan's house just to persuade him to stay with the Clippers.

The report went on to say that Crawford, who is on the final year of his four-year, $21.35 million deal with the Clips, was asking for an extension, which the management seemed to have overlooked this summer because of the handful of acquisitions and the DeAndre tug-of-war.

However, there were also reports that the Clippers are actually looking to trade Crawford and his expiring contract that is why they did not give him the extension.

According to Dan Woike of the Orange County Register, Crawford's unhappiness had been evident in his "social media activity" as he said that he wished he was a free agent perhaps to be able to sign to a new team.

Rivers had consistently said that they wanted Crawford back, but aside from denying his contract extension request at the beginning of the offseason, unending trade rumors might have made the former Michigan standout think otherwise.

When Rivers and company went to Jordan's house this summer, Crawford was left out of the plan and so he tweeted "actions speak louder than words" right after news of it broke out.

Woike speculated that the 6-foot-5 shooting guard might enter training camp intending to "force a trade from the Clippers".

Sports World Report indicated that Rivers wants to add another center as a backup for Jordan. All the Clips have right now is 26-year-old Cole Aldrich and the coach is reportedly not satisfied with him.

Rumors said that Crawford may be traded to Miami in exchange for fellow veteran Chris Andersen as the Heat needs some scoring punch off the bench. The move will satisfy both team's basketball requirements, but the only problem are the contracts of the players, which are significant in amount and would not help in easing up cap space.
