South Korean boy group, EXO, is currently in China for their EXO'luXion concert. Yet, following the reports of Chanyeol's minor injury, it appears that some Chinese fans aren't pleased with the Korean group. According to the latest, Chanyeol was hit with a flying water bottle. This is certainly not the first time.

EXO was in Chengdu, China, for their EXO'luXion concert. While some fans were pleased with the boys' presentation, it was clear that one Chinese fan had acted out in an entirely different manner. Eyewitness accounts stated that Chanyeol, a member of EXO, was hit by a flying water bottle.
The bottle hit Chanyeol in his lower left leg. It was obvious that Chanyeol was hurt by the incident when he stopped to check the part which was hit. Immediately after the incident, Chanyeol's Chinese co-member, Lay, talked to the fans in hopes of stopping the same thing from happening.
"Please don't throw water bottles up on stage. Your oppas might get hurt by these actions," stated Lay.
Chinese media outlets spoke up regarding the incident as well. Whereas, Korean fans of the boys also spoke up on the incident calling Chinese fans "unreasonable."
"Such actions must not be permitted if fans truly love EXO and that overly-expressing their love must not be tolerated," stated reports by media outlets based in China.
This incident involving Chanyeol being hit by a water bottle is certainly not the first time EXO members have been attacked in public. Back in March, Kai and former member Tao were also injured during their performance in China.
EXO's D.O. was also injured early in July during the group's concert in Tokyo, Japan. However, D.O.'s injuries did not involve irate fans.
"D.O slipped on his way down from stage during SM Town's Japan concert," stated a representative of EXO's agency, SM Entertainment, adding, "He went to the hospital to receive examination and the doctor said there are no problems in any bones or cartilage and they are simple bruises."
Hopefully, such incidences in China involving EXO members and Chinese fans would stop at this point. As for Chanyeol, his Korean fans wish him well.
