Following his exit from the Korean boy group, EXO, Tao has been increasingly active in his home country, China. In fact, Tao has already released his latest solo on YouTube, which has been actively blocked by his former agency in Korea, SM Entertainment. Now, the latest interview reveals that Tao had been lonely for four years following his leave from China to Korea.

During a Chinese show, Huang Zitao, more popularly called Tao, shed tears when interviewed about his time in Korea. For Tao, he found it hard to be separated from his family for four years. Despite the friendship and attention given by his former EXO members, this was allegedly not enough to fight off the loneliness Tao felt in Korea, having been separated from his family in China.

"I have been alone for the past four years; I had to deal with every single thing by myself. There was no one who helped me," stated Tao on the show.

Tao statements on the show clearly reflect the lyrics of his most recent song for his solo album. According to a few netizens, the song lyrics seem to be taking a jab at SM Entertainment.

"I wasted my time, and I cannot redo the past. I don't want to think about it anymore. One love? Where is it? I tried to find it, but I couldn't find anything. Is it my sincere heart for a sincere heart? Was it sincere? Where is it? Where is it? Let's forget what has passed," sings Tao in his latest single.

While some fans are left bewildered by Tao's statements, this has not stopped fans of Tao from defending him against EXO fans left enraged by his sudden departure from the group. For now, SM Entertainment has actively blocked Tao's music video from YouTube.

"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by SM Entertainment," reads the statement on YouTube.

This is not the first time a member of EXO has left the group. In 2014, Luhan and Kris left the Korean band as well to focus on their solo careers. Tao moving on from the group should not be so surprising for fans of EXO.
