(Photo : Reuters) "Destiny" developer Bungie announced on April 8 that it will release a new update on April 12. Although the update will be rolled out on all platforms for free, Bungie said that a handful of gears and items will be exclusively released for the PlayStation consoles.
"Game of Thrones" Star Peter Dinklage has been fired from doing the voice-overs of "Destiny" game. Also, the light level system has been abolished, much to the delight of the fans.
Game developer Bungie took part in this year's Gamescom, which was held in Germany, to reveal the drastic changes which will be seen in the upcoming game of "Destiny." "The Taken King" is the name given to the latest expansion of the game, and it is scheduled to be released soon, The Design Trend reported.

One of the most exciting features which will be seen is the abolishment of the light level system in the game, The Macnn confirmed. Presently, the players can climb till a soft character level cap of only 20, in addition to pushing their character's level above the limit with the attainment of special pieces of the armor. This armor is infused with a stat which is called Light.
Bungie also revealed that the light level system takes away the user's ability to keep a control on the character's progress. With "The Taken Kings," the levelling system will become more traditional and the players will be able to level up to a level cap of 40 without any need of special gears.
Bungie further revealed that there is more than meets the eye, with the purchasing of "The Taken King" as all players who will buy a copy of the latest expansion will also get a one time use level boost up, which will allow them to take their character to a new level altogether. The players will also bid a goodbye to their favorite character Ghost.
Peter Dinklage used to do the voice over for this character who is AI's constant companion. Ghost was one of the weakest elements in the game and was inevitable to get evicted from the game. The game producers apparently found his voice "too boring," so he was fired from the game.
The game is all set to be released on September 15.
