International Business Times further adds that audiences will have a glimpse of this show's Earth 2 as Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly during an interview that they season 2 of "The Flash" will explore multiple worlds and other characters that lived in those other worlds.
"We're trying to do the same thing this year with Earth 2 and the concept of the multiverse and the concept of dopplegangers," Kreisberg said. "We've been having a lot of fun with that and glimpses of Earth 2 probably sooner than would've thought."
"The Flash" season 2 will also introduce other possible characters in the such as Atom Smasher, Mirror Master, Dr. Alchemy, Jay Garrick and Wally West.
"Insugent" star Keiynan Lonsdale will tackle the task of playing Wally West in the show and will probably be Barry's sidekick, Kid Flash in future episodes soon; However, a report from IBT claimed that Wally West might also making an appearances in the Arrow/Flash spin off show, "Legends of Tomorrow", but when and how will Kid Flash appear in the show is still a mystery.
The website further adds that Carlos Valdes' character Cisco Ramon will also undergo some changes in season 2 leading to his transformation as the DC superhero, Vibe.
KpopStarz reports that Valdes explained that Cisco will undergo unexplainable changes that will leave him scared and traumatized at first. Eobard Thawne had a hunch that Cisco was also affected by the particle accelerator, and has the ability to "see" other variations from multiple earths.
Valdes further adds that Cisco will be at a point wherein he will be overwhelmed by all of this "madness" surrounding him, starting with Barry's time travel then the worm hole in Central City and losing his friend forever as the time line changes, Zap2It reports.
Valdes hinted that the worm hole in the season finale could further trigger Cisco's powers and manifest itself early on, but eventually he will learn to control and adapt these powers to become the hero that he is destined to be.
"The Flash" season 2 will premier on Oct. 6, 2015 on the CW Network.
