It looks like new updates for Hello Games' new sci-fi video game, "No Man's Sky" have been revealed regarding rumors of a Mac version and VR gameplay for the PlayStation4 and PC.

Youh Health also adds that VR gameplay in "No Man's Sky" for the PC platform will not be implemented as well. Hello Games' founder Sean Murray hinted before that VR gameplay for "No Man's Sky" for the Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus could happen at some point in the game's development.

However, Sony CEO Shawn Layden stated that Project Morpheus and VR platforms will not include 50 hours of gamepay and instead, the technology is better suited for more concentrated and concise gaming experiences. Although the statement does not point out to "No Man's Sky," the company's current mindset for Project Morpheus is very much against it.

Design&Trend adds that even though Sony will not follow suite on the "No Man's Sky" for the Morpheus, the Oculus Rift might be as open as them in allowing VR gameplay within the game and so far, its not yet confirmed whether this will happen or not.

Hello Games has also encountered several problems during "No Man's Sky's" development which led to the question as to when will the game will launch as several websites speculated it will launch this year.

However, a previous report from VideoGamer revealed that a Sony advertisement hinted "No Man's Sky" will be release sometime in 2016 along with other titles such as "Persona 5," "Mass Effect Andromeda," "Street Fighter 5," "Just Cause 3," Mirror's Edge Catalyst" and more.

MacWorld reports that a Mac version of the game could be release sometime in 2016 as well right after Hello Games launch the game in market for the PS4 and PC platforms.

The website further hinted that users must install Window's based programs on their Macs in order to play "No Man's Sky" or other PC exclusive video games.

Alex Wiltshire of Hello Games stated that it will take the players over 586 billion years for them to search every planet available in "Mo Man's Sky", and adds that most of the planets will be barren especially when they closest to the sun, the Christian Post reports.

Wiltshire further adds that natives on each planet will likely attack the players or will not bother them at all, but of an animal attacks them its either they scare it off or simply kill them on the spot.

There is no official release date yet for "No Man's Sky" for the PS4 and PC, but Hello Games will likely make that announcement very soon and gamers will be eagerly waiting for it.
