Steve-O Arrested After 100-Foot Crane Stunt; ‘Jackass’ Star Displays Inflatable Whale With 'Seaworld Sucks'

"Jackass" star Steve-O got arrested Sunday after he went to a Hollywood construction site and climbed a 100-ft. crane in order to protest SeaWorld.
Steve-O, or Stephen Glover even posted a live-stream of the entire stunt on Facebook, reported People.

In a later posting, he said: "Anyone wanna bail me out of jail?"
Before Steve-O was arrested, he was shown in the video standing at the top of the crane, inflating a giant orca balloon and on the balloon were the words "SeaWorld Sucks."
To cap his anti-Seaworld stunt, Steve-O later set off some fireworks before he was arrested, NBC News reports.
Firefighters arrived at the scene of the stunt unsure if Steve-O needed rescuing, so decided to position a large cushion under the "Jackass" star just in case he would fall, according to the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Before Steve-O was arrested, he climbed down the high crane himself.
The Los Angeles police said that the 41-year-old drew the attention of many emergency responders, according to The Associated Press.
As a result, Steve-O was criticized by Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart, who said that he just wasted resources which could have been used for real emergencies.
Before the Steve-O arrest, the celebrity stuntman teased his anti-Seaworld stunt by sharing a photo on Facebook showing himself holding an inflatable whale. At the same time, he told his fans to tune the next day on his Facebook page for a live stream of the anti-Seaworld stunt.

While Steve-O faced several possible charges for his stunt -trespassing, setting off explosives within city limits without a permit, conspiracy to commit a crime, and filming for personal gain without a permit - he was released Monday on bail, according to The Los Angeles Times.
The weekend stunt wasn't Steve-O's first against SeaWorld. In San Diego last year, he was given a fine of $239 for changing a highway sign and writing "SeaWorld Sucks."
Both SeaWorld and a representative of Glover's hasn't returned any requests for comment.
