In a move to rebuild its brand and combat declining attendance, SeaWorld will phase out its traditional Shamu show in San Diego and instead, a show that features less tricks and more of orcas' natural behaviors in the world will replace it.

SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. released a statement on December 11 that their CEO James Atchison is leaving the position and passed on the leadership to the company’s Chairman, David D’Alessandro beginning January 15, 2015.

Share prices of marine theme park operator SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc. dropped to a record low on Wednesday, after the company reported weak earnings due to floundering attendance caused by negative publicity on its captive killer whales.
