It was announced at the recently held GamesCom event in Germany that Nintendo will release an array of new and exciting games in wake of the 30th anniversary to the evergreen game of Mario Bros.

The company presented the line up of new Wii U and 3DS system games at the event, according to The Ecumenical News. The company also showed an emotional footage of its past game, as a tribute to Mario.

Mario has had an eventful journey in the last three decades as it scaled the heights of popularity and stardom. Fans are waiting with anxious breath for the new releases, as Mario is one of their beloved characters.

Gamers can also find a colorful tribute to this game on Nintendo's official website. "Super Mario" was first released on Sept. 13, 1985, according to The Nintendo UK.

To mark this as an important date in the calendar, Nintendo is releasing three Mario centric games. "Super Mario Maker," "Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam" and "Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash" are lined up to be released very soon. Fans are anxious with excitement about the impending releases and waiting with bated breath for their launch.

"Super Mario Maker" was announced at the E3 2015 digital event and is scheduled to be released on September 11. It is a creation tool video game in which the players can create their own Super Mario levels on the Wii U, which they can share with the other players online. The game will also allow the gamers to drag and drop items from different Mario games and build a Mario world of their own. New characters will also be introduced in this game.

"Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash" is scheduled to be released around Christmas this year, which will feature a tennis game play between different Mario characters with superb graphics and upgraded power ups. It will be a four player game. Fans are excited about this multi-player game where they can test their prowness against the other players.

"Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam" will be release in spring 2016. It will be a combination of "Mario and Luigi" and "Paper Jam."
