In "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," the "Mother Base" will get a major upgrade, much to the delight of the fans. 

Gamers will soon find out that "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" contains things which go beyond the usual run and gun missions. One of these attractive features is the personal "Mother Base," which will get a huge upgrade in the next game play, according to The Tech Times. Mother Base is where the Snake lives and leads his army to do all sorts of activities, training them for the upcoming missions.

In the previous game plays, gamers could only view the Mother Base from the air and could not actually play in it, The Discovery Updates noted. Gamers can hence think of the Mother Base as an entire game in itself. A 30-minute demo video which was shown at the GameCom event, which took place last week in Germany, showcases the purpose of the Mother Base. It shows that Mother Base is a huge place to grow and expand in the game, wherein the gamers can fully customize the area to the absolute last detail.

This is a very important and internal part of the gamer's campaign as they will go about recruiting soldiers after meeting new people at the Mother Base. Gamers can also keep on expanding the Mother Base into an even bigger platform and connect these parts through bridges. This will help them to do so much better in the game modes.

The demo video also talks about the bionic arm of the Snake and how it will help the gamer's to succeed in their missions. A proper walk through is given in the video, with the main language being English.

The creator of the game, Hideo Kojima did not reveal the exact launch date of the game yet, but it is expected to be released soon.
