Speculations of Taiwanese actor Jerry Yan getting back with his ex-girlfriend Lin Chi-ling sparked on Thursday when he attended the movie premier of "Our Time." According to reports, Yan gave a "very big smile" in lieu of a response when asked if he would go after his old flame.

The 38-year-old actor seem to have been caught off guard with the question. Prior to being grilled about Lin, he has responded a simple "yes" when asked if he would want to find a girlfriend soon. His silence and smile when asked about the 40-year-old model-actress prompted reporters to allege the reunion of the former lovers. However, Yan expressed his certainty in love in response to whether he intends to fall in love again after watching Our Time.

"Yes. Falling in love is the happiest feeling in the world," the "Meteor Garden" heartthrob shared with the press.

Among the F4 members, Yan is reportedly the only one who currently does not have a significant other. Vic Chou, who previously dated Meteor Garden co-star Barbie Hsu, is in a relationship with 27-year-old actress Reen Yu and appears to be gearing toward marriage. Ken Chu, who had several high-profile relationships, just started dating 19-year-old Chinese actress Han Wenwen. Vanness Wu, with whom Yan has kept closer ties compared with Chou and Chu, is already married for two years with Singaporean socialite Arissa Cheo.

In 2011, Lin was put under the spotlight when her statement allegedly hinted on being back with Yan. Her opinion on breakup, dating an ex-boyfriend, and not marrying into a rich family led to suspicions that her secret lover was Yan.

"I feel that when two people break up, it isn't necessarily a bad thing. It might be because the timing is not right," Yahoo! quoted Lin telling members of Hong Kong media.

Two years later, Yan was rumored to have been dating Japanese-Swiss model named Shoko. According to one tabloid, the pair has been dating for six months already when news of their relationship broke out. Reports also suggest that Yan was so smitten with the 27-year-old model that he wanted to quickly learn the Japanese language and even asked his friends to tour Shoko around Taiwan when he was busy with work. However, Yan's and Shoko's agencies declined to comment on the pair's affair.
