Feige described "Captain America: Civil War" as the finale of the trilogy. Hence we quote "the culmination of everything that has come before in Cinematic Universe."
Much to the crowd's surprise, Captain America actor Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie who plays Falcon appeared on stage to promote the film, iO9 noted. Both of them reportedly flew from Germany just to attend the said launch.
As for the movie trailer, it began with Captain America staring at a window in his full gear. He started to communicate with Falcon which was likely standing above a building. Afterwards it was followed by some shots of the Avenger's facility.
Meanwhile, the clip also revealed General Thadeus "Thunderbolt" Ross delivering speech to civilians about the difference between heroes and vigilantes, Cinema Blend reported. The site also noted that some mid-credit scenes from the recent "Ant-Man" movie were included on the trailer as well.
Then, the teaser also showed a possible feud among the superheroes. In one scene actor Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/ Ironman told Captain America that he wants to punch him. Another fighting scene was hinted between Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).
Lastly, the trailer unleashed Ant-Man's participation in the movie. The last part of the teaser showed Captain America, Black Widow, Falcon, and Scarlet Witch opening a white van and found the Ant-Man also known as Scott Lang who was sleeping. Ant-Man was suprised meeting the superheroes for the first time.
Notably, the trailer did not show Tom Holland, also known as Spider-Man despite of his participation in the film. But on the other hand, Variety noted that the trailer shared a glimpse of Black Panther.
Aside from the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer, Feige also unveiled the upcoming movie "Doctor Strange." He reportedly confirmed that actor Benedict Cumberbatch will be the one playing "Doctor Strange. However, Cumberbatch were not able to show up the expo but provided a video message to the crowd instead.
The highly anticipated "Captain America: Civil War" movie will kick off in theaters on May 6, 2016.
