Vin Diesel and his co-stars from "Fast and Furious 7" paid an emotional tribute to their dear friend Paul Walker at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday. The cast accepted the award for Choice Movie: Action.
"I can't stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about someone very, very important to us. One of the best blessings in our lives is that we have the opportunity to call Pablo a brother," Diesel said, as there were loud cheers from the audience. "Paul Walker is here with us in spirit," the 48-year-old actor said while standing alongside Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Ludacris, who also star with him in the movie.

Diesel said the entire cast of the movie was a big family. The film was very close to their hearts. He recounted how the late actor's family supported them after Walker died in a car crash in 2013. The cast members' pillar of support was his parents, his two younger brothers' brother Cody and Caleb, and his daughter Meadow, E! News reported.
Diesel also made a special mention of Paul Walker's teenage daughter, who is now all grown up. He said there was a "very, very, very special teen" amid them in the audience, mentioning about the 16-year-old Meadow.
Ludacris, one of the hosts of the awards function then revealed to the audience that Paul was the winner of Choice Movie Actor Action/Adventure for his role in "Furious 7" which he won posthumously. Brewster on her part said that they would always miss him and love him.
It was not just the cast members of the film who got emotional during the awards function, several people from the audience were also touched and wiped away tears. Meanwhile, Twitter users also admitted that the touching tribute by Diesel made them cry.
They got four prizes at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, while Diesel spoke on behalf of his all his colleagues. Earlier, in the night, rapper Wiz Khalifa accepted the Choice Song from a movie or TV show and Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Song awards for "See You Again", which he has sung along with Charlie Puth for the film. The song is a musical tribute to Walker and was included in the track of "Furious 7".
Walker died while filming "Furious 7" and left the movie halfway through. It was his brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker, who took over the work that their older brother left incomplete. They helped to complete the movie, acting as his body double. Both Cody and Caleb resemble their late brother, while Caleb is his mini look-alike.
