Britney Spears and Rita Ora debuted their rainbow colored hair at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday. The singers oozed Barbie vibes with their mermaid hued tresses.

The 33-year-old Spears opted for purple and green colors on her long blonde locks, while Ora went in for the season's hottest color of cotton candy pink. The 24-year-old "Poison" singer styled her platinum blonde hair straight with a side part, E!News reported.

The newly single star showed up for the event sporting longer and pastel pink tresses. She is known for her love of experimenting with her signature platinum locks.

Rita went in for natural makeup with her pink-tinted tresses. However, this is not the first time that the "I Will Never Let You Down" hit maker experimented with rainbow hues.

She has earlier colored her hair hot pink and teal, in keeping with the trend. Ora is also known for her love of switching up her hair style regularly, People reported.

The "X Factor" judge, who gave a punky vibe at the show, has recently been praised for her appearance on the panel by none other than Simon Cowell.

Meanwhile, Spears attended the event to accept the Candie's Choice Style Icon award. The hair chameleon is not afraid of experimenting with colors as her Instagram posts show, USA Today reported. She has been pictured with both brunette and red tresses. The style icon has also earlier sported pink and blue tints.

"Fashion has always been something I love to experiment with. It gives us all a chance to express ourselves in our own personalities, and shine in our own way," said Spears. She advised teenagers to be fearless in their choices, and not to be afraid of being themselves.

The rainbow hair trend has also been spotted on Jenny McCarthy, Hillary Duff, and Kaley Cuoco Sweeting, who have been dabbling with various colors.
