Taylor Swift shows off her acting skills and adorkable side on a sketch for "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon".

Dressing up as her alter ego Natalie, the "Love Story" singer uploaded a short clip of her audition to be on "Ew!"

"Ew!" is a recurring sketch on "The Tonight Show", which has already featured the likes of Channing Tatum, Zac Efron, Seth Rogen and Michelle Obama.

In the said sketch, Fallon plays Sara, a teenage girl who has a television show that she shoots from her basement.

Swift's clip features the usually stylish 24-year old pop star wearing thick glasses and braces, asking Sara if she remembers her. "Our moms were best friends together in college," Swift adds.

Shyly, Swift as Natalie, says that she and her mom will be visiting soon and asks if she could be on "Ew!"

She continues, "So I think that it will be lots of fun. Let me know if you ever want to chill when we come to visit you. Peace out."

Swift is set to appear on "The Tonight Show" on August 13 to promote her new sci-fi film "The Giver", which also stars Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, Katie Holmes and Alexander Skarsgard.

The singer plays Rosemary in the film adaptaion of the Lois Lowry classic, "The Giver". Rosemary is the previous "Receiver of Memories" who now only exists in The Giver's (Jeff Bridges' character) mind.

In the movie's sneak peek, Swift is shown as a hologram, playing on the piano.

The highly-anticipated movie will open in theaters on August 15.

Her co-star Jeff Bridges said that in between takes, he and Swift would play their guitars together.

"We just jammed, it was wonderful," he shared, "She's so sweet."

Recently, the pop singer has been sharing on Instagram that she is working on a new project. Although she hasn't stated outright what the new project is, many speculate that the singer will be releasing new music soon.
