Good news Marvel fans as new updates for "Wolverine 3" movie has been revealed regrading Sabretooth's return to the sequel, and a possible chance that Logan will be reintroduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to Screenrant, Hugh Jackman has revealed several big details in the upcoming "Wolverine 3" spin off during the Sydney Confidential Podcast, as he hinted that Logan's arch-nemesis Victor Creed, a.k.a. Sabretooth, will likely return in the film.

Jackman stated that there were "a lot of calls" for Sabretooth to comeback to the "X-Men" movie franchise and what better way to make a huge comeback than to pick an epic and savage fight with his rival, Wolverine. Sabretooth is easily the most recognizable foe in Logan's rogues gallery, as previous reports speculated that more of his enemies will likely show up such as Omega Red, Cyber and his biological son, Daken.

Sabretooth was played by two actors in the "X-Men" film series. The first being the former professional wrestler Tyler Mane in the first "X-Men" movie back in 2000, and the second is "Salt" and "Ray Donovan" star Liev Schreiber in the first spin-off film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

Interestingly, a report from Heroic Hollywood cited that Jackman really wanted to have Schreiber back as Sabretooth and has shared this same sentiments over a Q&A session on Twitter. The website further adds that Jackman tweeted to Schreiber suggesting a training session for their roles once again as Schreiber's response suggest that he is open with the idea.

ComicBookMovie further revealed that fans will likely see Wolverine's famous "berserker rage," and they are hoping to see Logan give in to his animalistic rage to tear his enemies apart.

Jackman teased before that "Wolverine 3" will likely based on the "Old Man Logan" comic book storyline during the SDCC 2015, which was once hinted by director James Mangold, and announced that he will eventually retire the character after doing two X-Men films, namely the third spin off and 2016's "X-Men: Apocalypse" movie.

However, previous reports suggest that Logan might be heading to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Jackman was interested to see his character join Captain America and Iron Man in the Avengers similar to the Marvel comics.

With Spider-Man already part of the same universe and reintroducing him in "Captain America: Civil War", Logan will likely be the next character to join in the MCU if Marvel will ever acquire the X-Men rights from Fox.

"Wolverine 3" will be release in cinemas on March 3, 2017.
