New updates and rumors for Netflix series "Daredevil" season 2 have been revealed regarding Iron Fist's presence in the show and Charlie Cox wanting to have a cameo in "Captain America: Civil War."

We Just Covered reports that new photos of Jon Bernthal's character Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, have surfaced during a taping session of "Daredevil" season 2. The images features Frank Castle taking on several mob members wearing an all black attire and scarred facial features.

Youth Health futher reports that Frank Castle's attire in the photos were a little teaser of how his Punisher outfit will look like in "Daredevil" season 2. Marvels fans are eager to see how Frank Castle will exactly portray his own brand of "justice" in the streets of Hell's Kitchen setting, which will set off an encounter with the more morale Matt Murdock that will eventually lead to a bloody and violent confrontation between the two.

Former showrunner Steven DeKnight commented that Bernthal's version will have similarities to his comic book counterpart, hinting that this is the first time Marvel Studios could do the character properly. Athough the website stated that the Punisher in "Daredevil" season 2 will be less violent than the Punisher films as they try to dial it down to PG 16.

Aside from Punisher, other characters are also making an appearance in the show such as Elektra played by "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" star Elodie Yung and Melvin Potter as Gladiator played by Matt Gerald. There are also rumors that Bullseye and The Hand are likely the main villains in season 2.

It is speculated that Iron Fist will possibly appear in the show due a easter egg found in Madam Gao's drug operation during the show's first season.

Iron Fist is one of the characters getting their own Netflix series from Marvel Studios, alongside Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, which leads up to the Defenders crossover in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; however, the website did not specify if this Iron Fist could be Danny Rand as many people have assumed the Iron Fist mantle in the Marvel comics.

Lastly, a previous report revealed that Charlie Cox was interested to see his character in "Captain America: Civil War," during an interview with IGN.

Cox told that he has been reading "Marvel Civil War" comics and teased that he wanted to fight alongside Scarlet Johansson's character Black Widow, although he stated it will be awkward.

"Black Widow is an ex girlfriend of Matt's. So....that would be awkward" Cox said.

It was also reported before that Punisher could also appear in "Captain Americe: Civil War" due to an instagram post of Tom Holland alongside Bernthal. Both characters have played a huge part in comic book version and fans are still hoping this could happen within the film.

"Daredevil" season is speculated to premiere on Spring 2016.
