Good news DC fans as new updates and spoilers for "Arrow" season 4 have been revealed regarding John Constantine's role in the series and John Diggle's possible superhero name.

According to Collider, "Arrow" TV series executive producer Wendy Mericle has revealed several major details regarding season 4 during the TCA Press Tour. Mericle represented CW Network in the tour panel called "Running of the Show: The Women Executive Producers of the CW," where each shows from the network such as "Arrow," "iZombie," "The Flash" and many more are being featured.

Mericle has shared what direction will "Arrow" season 4 will take after the events of season 3 in which Oliver Queen ( Stephen Amell) has accepted his identity as both Oliver and The Arrow and moved on to have a happy life with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) outside of Starling City (Star City soon). With "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow" in the mix, Mericle stated that they read each episode as the universes in all of the shows are very complex to the point that they are intertwined with each other were in Oliver will need Barry Allen's help and vice versa.

Mericle adds that Damien Darhk in the show will be pure evil, and unlike past villains such as Slade Wilson, Malcolm Merlyn or Ra's Al Ghul, they had their reasons to be villains as they think what they are doing is justifiable, Darhk will be a lot different calling him a "sociopath," which is never done in the show.

Mericle also revealed the role that John Constantine (Matt Ryan) will play in season 4 and it involves Sarah Lance's resurrection, The Mary Sue reported.

Several reports hinted that Constantine will have spell to bring Sarah back to life knowing that the Lazarus Pit will not work if the person is dead for too long. It is unknown what kind of method it will be, but the result is said to have a better (likely more dangerous) effect than the pit.

"It is tied to Sarah Lance's ressurection. We knew that Sarah had died at the beginning of season 3 and the she was going to be in 'Legends', so we had to find a way to bring her back," Mericle said. "He was the most obvious character to do that. We feel honored and excited that we got him, and that Matt Ryan is available. He is amazing."

ComicBook also reported that Mericle hinted that John Diggle (David Ramsey) may finally embrace his dual identity in "Arrow" sesson 4 to the point that he will have his own superhero name in the show.

Mericle teased that she cannot tell what Diggle's code name will be in the show, but hints that it will be "cool." It was reported before that Diggle's superhero name in the show could be Guardian due to the leaked costume tha has him in a body armor and is equipped with shield.
