The Xiaomi Mi 5 and the rumored Mi 5 Plus are the newest handsets on the list which was rumored to be better than iPhone.

According to PhoneArena, Xiaomi has successfully managed to keep the Mi 5 Plus and Mi 5's design confidential and unknown to its rivals and even to the public. These handsets are rumored to be just 5.1 mm thin. The interface is expected to run with Android 5.1.1 or Google's latest version of operating system. It is also expected to eliminate those Chinese characters from the older version handset and will be well translated into English.

Xiaomi prepared Mi 5 snd Mi 5 Plus versions of their flagship with different hardware configuration. The i 5 will pack 5.2-inch Quad-HD resolution display with a 64-bit octa core Snapdragon 810 SoC, a 3GB or 4GB of RAM and the main camera is expected to be at 16MP. It may also have a fingerprint scanner with Qualcomm technology.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus is expected to be bigger at 5.7 inches wide.This phablet will keep the  Quad-HD resolution which incorporates Qualcomm's next generation Snapdragon 820 SoC. The rear camera is at 24MP and the front is at 13MP. Finger scanner may be added and the battery capacity is expected at 3500 mAh.

Both handsets' memory capacity is expected to be between 16GB and 64GB of eMMC 5.0 and maybe expandable with the memory card which was reported to be better than iPhone, Focus News confirmed.

Xiaomi packed these flagship device with pretty good standard and latest technology. They are expected to sell the Xiaomi Mi 5 between $371 to $386 while the Mi 5 Plus is more expensive with $600 projected price. These two Chinese Android devices are rumored to be available in the market by October or November. But still depends on the company's plan of acquiring Snapdragon 810 to power their device.
