Arizona Cardinals' newly-acquired running back Chris "CJ2K" Johnson pulled his right hamstring during the team's final rep of Thursday's practice and is reportedly going to be sidelined for at least one or two weeks.
Head coach Bruce Arians confirmed the report via ESPN, saying that the team will further know the severity of Johnson's injury after their Saturday night Week 2 preseason game against the San Diego Chargers.

The seven-year pro, who played his first six seasons with the Tennessee Titans and last season with the New York Jets, was signed by the Cardinals last week to a one-year, $2 million deal to add depth to their backfield roster.
Johnson, who had just recovered from being shot in the shoulder last March, was unable to play in their loss against the Chargers, 22-19, and was replaced by 23-year-old rookie running back David Johnson. The rookie carried the ball 13 times for 66 yards and caught it twice for 15 yards, impressing the head coach in the process.
Arians admitted that his team still does not have a clear-cut starting running back yet as last season's starter, Andre Ellington, seems to be not sufficient for the job this year, as per the NFL's official website. Ellington still started the Chargers game and had two carries for 12 yards.
Johnson and his rookie namesake are both top contenders for the starting job, but the younger one may be getting ahead of everyone else after the 29-year-old's temporary setback.
Since Johnson will be out for two weeks, he would not be able to participate in the team's preseason games at all. Therefore, his first chance of showing his true form will be during the regular season games already, as per Arizona Sports.
Before Johnson pulled his hamstring, Arians was planning to utilize him for a longer minutes in the game against San Diego, something which could have strengthened the former East Carolina's regular season starter case.
But everything is not lost for the Orlando native as his teammates remain enthusiastic of finally seeing him on their side during an official game.
The Cardinals' star quarterback Carson Palmer recently remarked that CJ2K was a "really, really good fit" for the team and had already gone through several reps with the veteran signal caller in training camp.
