The latest "Dancing with the Stars" season 21 spoilers revealed that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson just may be part of the cast. Dance pro Derek Hough shared that he has always wanted the "Furious 7" star to join the competition.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Hough revealed that, given the opportunity, he wanted to dance with either Johnson or Kevin Hart.

"I wouldn't dance with him obviously because he's a dude but The Rock would be funny," he shared.

Hough also mentioned that he wanted to see Kevin Hart put on her dancing shoes in the ABC series.

As previously reported by Franchise Herald, IGN has started a poll early this year, asking netizens what they thought of Johnson joining the "Dancing With the Stars" season 21 cast.

A few forum members expressed doubt about Johnson being part of the reality series. They pointed out that he is too big a celebrity to be part of the show. One even pointed out that only "B-list" stars go on the show.

It has long been rumored that the ABC executives wanted Caitlyn Jenner to be part of the series. With her recent transformation, they allegedly believed that having the "I am Cait" star is a sure way to increase the show's ratings.

In an interview with Gossip Cop, "DWTS" producer Deena Katz, however, claimed that they have not spoken to Jenner. She claimed that although they want her on the show, now just may be not the right time. 

She added that Jenner would be "great" for ABC, however, they wanted her to get her life back together fist. 

"I think right now she needs to figure out her life," Katz said.

"Trust me, we will be fighting for her at some point. But for now, let Caitlyn become Caitlyn."

The showrunner explained that being part of "Dancing with the Stars" can become really stressful. She added that fans wanted to know about each of the contestant's private life, which definitely would not work in Jenner's favor.

"Coming on 'Dancing with the Stars' is a big huge burst. It kind of turns your life upside down," she said.

"Let's let her get her normal life before we disrupt it all over again."
