Zachary Quinto and the rest of the "Star Trek Beyond" cast created a tribute video for Leonard Nimoy in support of the cause that meant a lot to the original Spock.
The video shows Nimoy in some behind-the-scenes footage in the set of previous "Star Trek" movies. Quinto described him as an "an actor, a champion of the arts, and a true inspiration to so many." He added that Nimoy has influenced him along with other actors and scientists through his iconic portrayal of Spock. The video concluded with a Vulcan salute from the cast.

Nimoy led the original series and was part of the rebooted movie as well. He won a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009 at the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA.
The "Star Trek: To Go Boldly" campaign is an initiative that supports nine charities chosen by the cast. This week, they picked St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization that is leading the way in advancing cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It was nominated by Susan Nimoy in honor of her husband.
Fans can choose from different items to purchase and the proceeds will go to any of the nine chosen charities. The more expensive the purchase is, the more raffle entries you will get.
If you win, you'll get the chance to be part of "Star Trek Beyond" in a walk-in role. You can go behind the scenes, hang out with the cast, and witness the filming of the movie up close. You will also be flown to Vancouver where you will stay in a 4-star hotel.
Visit Omaze for more information. Campaign ends on Sept. 1, 2015.
