"Vikings" Season 4 is currently filming and series actress Katheryn Winnick showed her fans that it is indeed her doing her stunts with a 'behind-the-scenes' fight training footage post in Instagram. The video showed Winnick doing the moves without any stunt doubles and she has become pretty adept at wielding the sword and shield after four seasons of playing the role of the fiercest Viking shield maiden, Lagertha.

Winnick explained in a post in Enstarz  ""It's important to me to not have a stunt double unless it's something that's extremely [difficult]." The Canadian actress has her own martial arts school which she decided to make a career after earning a black belt at the age of 13. It is the perfect skill set for the actress who plays "Lagertha" in the "Vikings" and she adds "I feel very comfortable holding a shield and a sword, and I think my martial arts background has given me the foundation I need." Winnick also hinted that Lagertha's storyline for the next season will be amazing.

As posted in Christian Today, "Vikings" creator Michael Hirst talks about how Lagertha will be consumed by several issues like her emotions, physical needs, and politics after confessing that she still has feelings for Ragnar even though they're separated. Hirst added that their relationship will still be as unpredictable as ever and hinted that the pair will always be a part of each other.

Season 4 of "Vikings," according to VcPost, will feature various scenes that show the different hurdles Ragnar Lothbrok had to endure in his reign. Hirst also said that the fearsome Viking is going to experience health issues and that what happened in the finale of the last season will make him distrusting of the people around him. Bjorn, his son, will take over the Vikings as leader when Ragnar is removed from power by his own people.
