Newly engaged star Julianne Hough finally gave a glimpse of her huge bling. The actress had built lot suspense about her engagement ring. On Wednesday when the actress attended an event in Los Angeles, she hid her ring.

But, the very next day, she opened up about her new 5-plus-carat Lorraine Schwartz bling on her blog, ET Online reported. The ring is an oval shaped single solitaire in rose gold. The band has smaller diamonds.

"The ring itself makes me feel very feminine and takes my breath away every time I look down, which I can't stop doing, by the way," she wrote. Hough added that she does not want to take it off.

"I'll even wake up in the middle of the night to make sure it's still there! I never thought I'd be the girl sticking her hand out to her friends and screaming in unison but here I am, shrieking all over Los Angeles," the "Dancing With the Stars" judge said.

A source told People on Aug. 19 that Brooks Laich called Lorraine because he wanted to find the most perfect diamond that was truly beautiful and shined bright like Julianne. The actress's fiancé and the jewelry designer worked together for months to find a ring that reflected Julianne's grace and elegance. The insider added that the diamond was of the highest quality and the design, very clean, elegant and beautiful.

She also gave details about the sweet proposal. The couple were vacationing with Julianne's family at their lake side home. It was when her boyfriend ice hockey player Laich proposed to her. The couple were relaxing on the deck and watching the sunset, and listening to their favorite song when the Washington Capitals centre forward popped the question.

The 27-year-old even took a two-week break from social media to enjoy the moment. Hough thanked her friends and family for all the love and support. The love being poured into this next step of our relationship is incredible, and I'm so very grateful."

The couple began dating since 2013. Hough previously dated Ryan Seacrest from 2010 to 2013.
