For the followers of 'Married at First Sight' it may end as not so good if the rumors will materialized. According to a post by the Master Herald, "The assumptions that the show would not be reintroduced for its third season even grew stronger when the casting call that was posted before on the show's website was pulled out despite drawing a substantial number of applicants."

This move clearly supports the rumor that the show would not push through. For the non-followers and recent followers, 'Married at First Sight' is a series about marrying a complete stranger that are matched up by a panel of experts as conveyed by Channel4. It is mostly a quest for love with the aid of science. For instance, according to an earlier article by News, "On Monday night's run finale, each competitor is given the opportunity to reconsider the circumstances before determining if they'd like to stay with their scientifically matched other half."
It appears that the network and its producers are resigned to the fact that "Married at First Sight" Season 3 will not be extended and this is the reason why the producers are preparing another replacement for the show momentarily. The show may be silly and the upcoming replacement will be more absurd as well. According to the article released by Master Herald, "The replacement show would also be a social experiment reality TV series and it shall also make marriage an experiment just like "Married at First Sight," and this time, more bizarre."
If the rumors are materialized and season 3 will not be aired, the fans will be treated to a more bizarre kind of reality show as well. Master Herald further conveyed that the possible replacement show is "Seven Year Switch" and the premise of the series is couples who have been married for seven years switch partners. How absurd can it get?
