Speaking at the recent Dragon Con 2015 in Atlanta, Amell spoke at the "Arrow" panel and gave fans a very intriguing statement.
"The fundamental part of the season, that nobody is really going to understand until they see the premiere, is that we do something in the premiere that we've never done in the history of the show. It does something for the remainder of the season that there's going to be a constant jeopardy in the show, even if times are good. It's a really interesting technique. I think it promotes a good story. I think it will pique people's interest."

The show recently released its new trailer which starts off with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) jogging in a quiet neighborhood as he goes home to Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). But it seemed like the quiet life isn't really for Oliver as the couple returns to the cold Team Arrow.
Obviously, John Diggle (David Ramsey) was pissed that Oliver left but he still reluctantly accepts his return. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Thea Queen (Willa Holland) are still part of the team. A new character Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) is seen in the trailer as someone who works with Felicity in Palmer Industries. Curtis' secret persona will later on be revealed as Mr. Terrific.
This season sees Team Arrow facing off against Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough of Captain America: The First Avenger and Agent Carter fame) and H.I.V.E., the organization that killed John Diggle's brother. Meanwhile, Malcolm Merlyn has been promoted to the rank of Ra's al Ghul, leading to the decision to resurrect Sara Lance using the Lazarus Pit.
Season 4 of "Arrow" returns on Oct. 7 at The CW.
