(Photo : REUTERS/Steve Marcus) Celine Dion moved people to tears after delivering a stirring tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris at the recent American Music Awards.
Céline Dion has just announced that she will not only be cancelling her Las Vegas residency, but will also not being completing her scheduled Asia tour. The reason?
Dion's husband has been battling cancer, and it has not shown signs of getting better anytime soon.
After undergoing surgery last December--where a tumor had been removed from his throat--Réne Angéli has reportedly been undergoing an unbearable amount of stress over his current condition.

The two have three young children together, with the oldest being only thirteen.
Dion's Asia tour was set to be the eleventh tour in the popular Canadian singer's career.
After Dion originally announced her tour in late June, she disclosed that she would be performing in Japan, China, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Singapore. The tour was set to happen throughout the fall season, with four performances spanning Japan, two in China, and two in Taiwan.
Dion had also disclosed in a video message addressed to her Japanese followers that her performances would feature the new songs from her recently released English album, Loved Me Back to Life. Some of old fan favorites would also be appearing on her set list.
Tickets for the performances in Tokyo and Osaka sold out only moments after the tickets were available to be purchased.
It was also revealed that Canadian singer and impersonator, Véronic Dicaire, had been set to open for Dion during her scheduled performances in the Philippines and Japan.
Instead of focusing on her career, Dion has reported that she wishes to devote all of her time and attention on caring for her husband in his time of need.
Though Dion has apologized to her fans for her cancellation and the disappointment it has caused among them, Dion took the time to remind them that she was continuously thankful for their love and support.
