On Sept. 29, a one-month-old baby girl named Wei Wei underwent a surgery for an anal abscess in a hospital in Guangdong, southern China, when she started crying so loud because of pain and discomfort. But that was not until Nurse Li Baoxia, also a lactating mom, came in and breastfed the little one. Her actions of kindness and selflessness have moved people especially the ones who witnessed the scene, including those who saw the photos and read the story online.

According to a lifestyle blog Shanghaiist, medical worker Li has gone over and beyond her duty when she breastfed the baby. This moment seemed to capture many hearts as the little girl managed to calm down.
Thanks to the medical team as the surgery was deemed successful. Good news, precious Wei Wei is recovering well. All these and more made the family really grateful for the help and support.
Wei Wei's father: "You're an angel nurse!"
He also took the liberty of meeting Nurse Li to personally extend his gratitude to her. "Thank you! You only did not cure my child but also breastfed her. As a father, I cannot thank you enough," he said with much appreciation.
The photos and the touching story itself went viral over different social media sites such as Weibo, China's equivalent of Twitter and also got featured in many online news publications and blogs.
