A sneak peek of the sequel to 'Finding Nemo', 'Finding Dory' will be released Tuesday. Although the exact time has not been announced, it is possible it could air during "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".

Normally, the shows airs on NBC at 4 p.m. EST.

Ellen DeGeneres - who voices the adorable, absentminded blue tang fish named Dory - shared a poster of the movie on Twitter with news that a trailer to be released on Tuesday, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The first poster for Pixar's Finding Dory, which was released on Monday, showcased a sweet throwback to 2003's Finding Nemo. "She just kept swimming," the tag says on that poster, which gives fans a look at Dory's fin as she swims in the ocean.

According to International Business Times, the long-awaited sequel to "Finding Nemo" will be released next year. It will focus more on the forgetful blue tang. DeGeneres teased the film's plot along with other members who casted the show at the D23 Expo in August, a Disney conference held in Anaheim, California. Dory will be on a journey to finding her family and once again will turn to the help of some old friends to find her way across the ocean.

Finding Dory's voice cast includes star Albert Brooks (Marlin), Katlin Olson (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy (American Pie) Dominic West (The Affair), Idris Elba (Luther), Modern Family leads Ed O'Neill and Ty Burrell, reported First Showing.

Andrew Stanton, the director of "Finding Nemo", is returning for the broadcast and will be joined by co-director Angus MacLane. During an interview with Movie Web in August, DeGeneres said they've been working on the film for more than three years and she's excited for fans to finally get to see the new clip.

"This has waited to happen, and I think people will be very happy with what we're doing. I think we're going to develop something that, regardless of if you were a 'Nemo' fan or not, you're gonna love this film," DeGeneres said.

Finding Dory" is expected to be released on June 17, 2016.
