Remember that lovable yet forgetful Blue Tang fish, Dory, who helped Nemo's dad, Marlin, find him? Well, she is back with a film of her own.

Children and adults alike first fell in love with Ellen DeGeneres character in 2003's Finding Nemo and on June 17, 2016, she will be reunited with her Clownfish friends, Nemo and Marlin as she looks for answers about her past and her family in her self-titled film "Finding Dory."

Finding Dory will pick up six months after the events in the blockbuster hit "Finding Nemo" and will mostly take place at the Marine Biology Institute of California. In August, director Andrew Stanton explained the need for him to create the sequel, at the D23 Expo, "I wanted to know that if this charming yet forgetful fish ever gets lost again, I wanted to know if she would be okay and if she would find her way home and at the end of Finding Nemo, I did not feel confident enough to end her journey there, I wanted to see where life would take her."

Dory's voice, comedian Ellen DeGeneres first premiered the trailer on EllenTube last Tuesday. DeGeneres, who was also present at the D23 Expo, smiled and said, "I'm very excited, and I'm so proud of this film."
Finding Nemo was the first ever Pixar Film to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

Finding Dory is set to premiere in the United States on June 17, 2016, worldwide showing dates will be released soon.
