Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was originally designed for the Nintendo GameCube console. In 2006, different versions of the game was released for both GameCube and Wii in 2006. The game is notable for its darker environment compared to most Zelda games. This game gives Link the ability to turn into a wolf.
Nintendo's updated version of Twilight Princess will have a total visual upgrade including a package with the newly announced Wolf Link Amiibo. The game will also support the previously Legend of Zelda Amiibo characters from the Smash Brothers roster like Zelda, Toon Link, Ganondorf, and many others.
Fans, who want to be guaranteed the Wolf Link Amiib,o should consider pre-ordering the Twilight Princess HD Wolf Link Amiibo bundle. Besides being guaranteed a copy of the game, fans who pre-order will also get a CD of the game's official soundtrack.
According to Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime, the player's progress saved to Amiibo from Twilight Princess can be transferred to the upcoming The Legend of Zelda game on Wii U.
Next year is the 30th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise. Fans are expecting even more news and announcements next year. Nintendo already released the HD version of Twilight Princess' predecessor called The Wind Waker on the Wii U. Despite the artistic differences (Wind Waker had a cartoon-like look) they both ran on the same engine. Remake versions of games are in trend; hopefully Nintendo could make another HD link for Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD and the Wolf Link Amiibo will be released on March 4, 2016 and is available for pre-order now.
