Nintendo Announces 'Splatoon' Squid Sisters Amiibo

Nintendo has announced that it has shipped more than 53 million Amiibo units since the miniature collectible figurines were released in 2014. In 2015 alone, Nintendo claims it shipped 24.7 million units. As part of the company's effort to further market these figurines, it recently added two new Amiibo figurines from the Wii U game 'Splatoon.'

Nintendo confirmed on Friday that the GameCube/Wii crossover title of 'Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess' is coming to Wii U. The remake of the game is entitled 'Twilight Princess HD.'
