Just one day after its packaging was leaked online, tech giant Apple finally launched the official Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock. The charging dock designed for Apple's flagship smartwatch can be purchased on the company's official website.

According to The Verge, the Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock will cost $79. The charging dock allows users to charge their Apple Watch device either flat or on its side. Charging the Apple Watch on the charging dock will activate the smartwatch's nightstand mode.

Users can activate the Nightstand Mode through the General tabs. When the Apple Watch is in Nightstand Mode, the display will show the current time, date and battery level as well as alarms. When the alarm goes off, a snooze feature can be activated by pressing down the digital crown of the smartwatch.

The dock is equipped with a magnetic charging ring. The dock is designed in a way that the ring can pop out and be positioned vertically. This unique design allows the dock to charge the Apple Watch either lying flat or on its side. Charging the Apple Watch on its side will automatically active Nightstand Mode.

The charging dock comes in with a lightning to USB cable. However, it looks like a USB power cord adapter is need if users wants to connect it to a wall outlet.

The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock's official description on the Apple website reads, "The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock uses the same inductive charging connector that comes with Apple Watch. It charges both the 38mm and 42mm models. And it connects via the Lightning to USB Cable and Apple 5W USB Power Adapter."

The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock is currently available exclusively on Apple's online store. However, the device will be available in physical Apple Stores starting Nov. 20.
