Former Disney stars Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez have been very close friends since the two met on "Barney the Purple Dinosaur" as kids. However, the pair seem to have experienced a rift in the friendship and are no longer close.

In an interview with "Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen, Lovato shared that the news that she is no longer friendly with Gomez is true.

"I think it's just one of those things where people change and people grow apart," she shared.

Many believe that one of the reasons why Lovato had decided to drop Gomez as a friend was due to her growing frustration over Gomez's choice of men. Gomez has an on-off relationship with pop brat, Justin Bieber.

Rumors that the two were no longer friends flew when Lovato unfollowed Gomez on Twitter and, consequently posted a cryptic tweet about their friendship.

21-year old Lovato tweeted, "Swimming away from the bulls**t bye b***h." 

After posting the said tweet, the singer changed her mind and immediately deleted it.

Cohen asked what she meant in the deleted post, to which Lovato teased that she pleaded the "sixth". The "sixth" is in reference to her reply of pleading the "fifth" to a previous controversial question.

Cohen proceeded to ask her to play the "shag, marry or kill game". Cohen asked her who she would shag, marry or kill - Simon Cowell, Justin Bieber and Joe Jonas.

"I'd kill Bieber. I'd kill Simon. F**k, I'd kill Joe, too!" she answered playfully. However, she quickly backtracked and said that Jonas is now a friend and that she'd want to keep him around.

Athough Gomez no longer has a friend in Lovato, it seems that she has reconnected with another friend she had a falling out with - singer Taylor Swift.

After Gomez suffered through yet another break-up with Bieber, Swift reached out to Gomez to console her. Swift is said to be actively searching for a better man for her friend.
