'Mortal Kombat X' DLC: Batman, Ninja Turtles, and Superman Ruled Out for New DLC 'Kombat Pack 2'

(Photo : Reuters) New game characters in the Kombat Pack 2 DLC pack for Mortal Kombat X will be unveiled at the Game Awards 2015 in LA later this week.

The highly anticipated DLC of Mortal Kombat X - 'Kombat Pack 2' will not include Batman, Ninja Turtles, and Superman.

Game developer giant Nether Realms Studios will soon release the Mortal Kombat X DLC Pack 2. It is one of the most awaited games and the developer is yet to announce the official release date of the game's expansion pack.

It is speculated that the game might be release in March 2016, according to Venture Capital Post. The Mortal Kombat X DLC Pack 1 was released in the month of March this year, which makes it safe to assume that Nether Realms Studios will release the second expansion in the same month.

Mortal Kombat X DLC Pack 2 is expected to follow the same trend of releasing the characters a week after the release of the game. It is rumored that the expansion might include the four characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.

Ed Boon, the game's creator is very popular for his witty tweets about the upcoming DLC's of Mortal Kombat X. He has refused to comment on the inclusion of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters  in the DLC Pack 2. However, one of his latest tweets did indicate that D'vorah and Takeda will get new costumes.

There are many speculations about the new characters in the upcoming game. Movie characters like Indiana Jones, Neo from The Matrix and The Joker from Batman are the top choices in the discussion forums.

Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment is the official producer of the Mortal Kombat X DLC Pack 2. It will be released for for Play Station 4, Xbox One and PC consoles.
